it's russian week!

just the idea of making a menu for the week was not inspiring me. i said to cassie "we need something new and different. pick a country and we'll make food from there."

it's a big country. i suppose it was hard to miss.

next stop, the library. we picked up a cookbook, and



a movie. (not my first choice, but dr. zhivago was only available on vhs).


tonight's dinner: piroshki and paprika potatoes! it's delicious. almost exactly like a burger and fries. only different.
